At Neuvic at Moulin de la Veyssière visit a water mill still in activity involving the production of walnuts and hazelnuts oils.

Caviar de Montpon et Neuvic - Dordogne

The river Isle is favorable to the breeding of sturgeon,therefore two fish farms of caviar are installed.

The closest to the campsite is Prunier factory in Montpon, the shop is open to the public by against fish farming can only be visited during the festival of sturgeon on 14 July.
 
The second is the Caviar Neuvic where visits are organized on Friday morning in summer.

Cheeses

Lovers of cheese can go to Echourgnac Abbey where is made the Trappe. The sisters sell their production and goat cheeses of the brothers of St. Jean-Baptiste priory.

On the Montpon's Market, every Wednesday, do not hesitate to meet Biquette who sells the Pizou goat cheese.

Bergerac et Monbazillac - Dordogne

Bergerac and Monbazillac

The Bergerac is famous for its red wine as Pecharmant, Côtes de Bergerac or Montravel.

Another celebrity is Monbazillac. This sweet wine is produced in the south of Bergerac, on the left bank of the Dordogne.

Other names for white wines are Côtes de Bergerac, Rosette, Côtes de Montravel and Saussignac.

Bordeaux et Saint Emilion - Dordogne

Vineyards and Wines of World Renown

The Gironde nearby allows you to visit its many vineyards of Bordeaux including the ones near Libourne (Lalande de Pomerol Pomerol ...).

The Saint Emilion is one of the most reputed and this village is worth visiting as much for its vineyards than for its architectural heritage.
